Description of profession:
- Setting up workplaces
- Reading and applying technical documents
- Determining work steps, materials and tools, methods
- Selecting, procuring and testing required materials
- Planning the use of tools, devices and manufacturing aids for (CNC) production tools and plants
- Operating production plants, monitoring work procedures of manufacturing machines and plants
- Production planning/assembly planning and production/assembly control as well as plant logistics and warehouse controlling
- Monitoring and ensuring product quality and performing quality control measures
- Maintaining tools, machines and plants, performing simple service work.
- Performing work in compliance with applicable safety rules and standards as well as relevant environmental standards
- Creating technical data concerning work prodedures and results
