Dr. Alexander Eichwalder from GREENoneTEC elected into ESTIF Board of Directors
The European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (ESTIF) members have elected a new President and a new Board of Directors on 3 December at their General Assembly in Brussels.

Dr. Alexander Eichwalder from GREENoneTEC was elected to the ESTIF Board of Directors for the 2nd time. According to Eichwalder key issues on which the ESTIF will have to concentrate are:
- Flexible solar key mark certification to save costs
- Eco labeling strategy for solar thermal systems
- Positioning of solar thermal solutions within the platform of renewable technologies (which are partly in competition actually)
- Support of national solar associations at their lobbing to facilitate the realization of the national energy action plans
