GREENoneTEC unveils new heatpipe generation – HP 160 Easy

As the world's largest manufacturer of flat, solar thermal collectors GREENoneTEC's next heatpipe generation sets new standards. The HP 160 Easy made its first public apperance at ISH 2009 in Frankfurt.

The new heatpipe Easy is a completely pre-assembled, compact solar system comprising a high-performance collector, integrated 160-litre double-walled tank and foldout frame. The product's appeal is primarily down to its aesthetic design but it also boasts respectable performance: Thanks to improved layering of the boiler, the heatpipe yields 15% more in comparison with good thermosyphon systems and its ethanol circuit also makes it an absolutely frostproofed and maintenance-free system. The 2.3m² FK 8000 series' Al-frame collector is manufactured at GREENoneTEC on a fully automated, robotic assembly line. All joints are bonded exclusively by means of a specially-developed, UV resistant, two-component adhesive. A highly selective, high-performance, Al-coated absorber is used as an absorber, ensuring maximum heat transmission between the absorber sheet and the header tubes thanks to optimised GREENoneTEC laser welding technology.
