Acquisition in 2020 by GREENoneTEC, a global market leader in solar thermal. GREENoneTEC is the world’s largest manufacturer of flat-plate thermal collectors with an annual production capacity of more than 1.6 million m² of collectors. Highly automated, process-safe robotic production lines, offer highest quality with excellent delivery performance and reliability – of course made in Austria, certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and with more than 30 years of experience in the solar market.

All Arcon-Sunmark production lines have been relocated to Austria/St.Veit/Glan. GREENoneTEC is the brand for highest production quality and innovation in the solar market and will start production and distribution of Arcon-Sunmark collectors from Austria in 2021.

HISTORY OF ARCON SUNMARK

Founded in 1974 in Skørping, Denmark, Arcon Solar, a pioneer in the large-scale solar thermal plant industry, and Sunmark, also founded in Denmark in 2008, joined forces in 2015 to share their experience in large-scale solar plants! This was the birth of Arcon-Sunmark. A symbiosis of two companies that scored with a lot of experience, especially in the field of district heating! ARCON Solar, for example, has installed the largest large-scale solar thermal plants in Europe. Sunmark installed more than 200,000 m² of solar heating systems, including the world’s largest solar plant for the mining industry in Chile.
